The Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) is closed and the collection is largely inaccessible to all users as we are in the process of moving to the new Charles Library. We will not be able to fulfill retrieval requests during this period, but researchers can still create SCRC Researcher accounts. We will reopen and resume normal operations at the start of the 2019 fall semester.
Visit this page for updated information.
Researcher registration and requests to use SCRC materials can now be made online using your SCRC Researcher Account.
Although you don’t need to make an appointment ahead of time to use the collections, we recommend that requests be placed ahead of time using your SCRC Researcher Account. We especially recommend this to out-of-town researchers or researchers working on time-sensitive projects, as some materials need to be retrieved from off-site and will not be immediately available without advance notice. Additionally, you may want to contact us for more in-depth reference assistance.
For more information on the SCRC Research Account see our FAQ.
Please contact the Special Collections Research Center if you need assistance creating or accessing your SCRC Researcher Account.
